C•CASSIVS•CELER•IIIVIR•A•A•AFF around large S•C. BMC 166. Cohen 408. RIC 375. A lovely example with very attractive orichalcum surfaces. Minor roughness on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.

From an old Swiss collection, privately acquired from Schweizerische Kreditanstalt Monetarium in the late 1970s or early 1980s (with original dealer's ticket).
